Deans Lane Closed Overnight. Meet Santa Day Sunday
2017 Heroes and Helpers - Wednesday, December 13th 5pm at Target, 4196 Route 1 North
Heroes and Helpers is a collaborative effort between the South Brunswick Police Department, South Brunswick Schools, and Target of South Brunswick. Our goal is to identify and recognize students displaying exceptionally positive interaction with peers and school staff, and outstanding community spirit. Only ten recipients were chosen for 2017 out of a pool of nearly 9,000 eligible students.
We will be holding a ceremony for the ten recipients at Target of South Brunswick on Wednesday, December 13th at 5:00 pm. Refreshments will be served, and recipients will be escorted by South Brunswick police officers, Target staff, and school representatives on a shopping spree in the store.
South Brunswick Police Santa Day –Sunday December 17th 12pm to 2pm at VFW Post 9111, 11 Henderson Road, Kendall Park NJ
The South Brunswick Policeman's Benevolent Association Local 166 along with the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 51, in cooperation with the South Brunswick Police Department, are sponsoring their annual "Meet Santa Day".
The event will be held on December 17, 2017, from noon until 2 p.m., at the VFW Post 9111, located at 11 Henderson Road in Kendall Park (near the Rt. 27 intersection).
This Holiday event is open to all children in the township. Police officers will be on hand to give out toys and take pictures of the children with Santa. There will be light refreshments served.
ROAD CLOSURE - DEANS LANE BOTH DIRECTIONS
Deans Lane will be also closed in both directions at the train underpass between Blackhorse Lane and Georges Road from8pm to 6am starting Monday December 11, 2017 till Friday December 15, 2017.
PSE&G will be doing utility pole repairs. Detours will be set up.
Vehicles should use Adams Lane in North Brunswick or Route 522 to get between Route 130 and Route 1.
