ACCUSED: 1 Unknown male subject
NARRATIVE: On 12/9/17 at approximately 7:23 pm, officers of the Township of Ocean Police Department responded to the parking lot of the Cobblestone Wine & Spirits located within Cobblestone Village in reference to an armed robbery that had just occurred. Officers located a female victim who was leaving the liquor store and had just gotten into her car when a male subject approached her vehicle, opened the car door and brandished a knife. He threatened her with the knife and demanded her purse. The suspect stole the victim’s purse and fled in a green colored mini-van type vehicle. The suspect was described a black male, in his 30’s wearing a tan or gray hooded sweatshirt, with a black and white t-shirt underneath, dark pants and a scarf covering his face. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information to please contact the Ocean Township Police Criminal Investigation Bureau.
