Owensville woman arrested on DUI charge. 
On December 10, 2017, at 1:47 a.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 report of a wrong way driver on US 41 near Fort Branch. Upon locating the vehicle near Dead Man’s curve on US 41 Deputy John Fischer conducted a traffic stop on the Beige 2006 Kia Rio. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Fischer identified the driver as 38 year old Devon O’Brien of Owensville, Indiana. While speaking with Ms. O’Brien began a roadside DUI investigation that resulted in Ms. O’Brien being taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail.
At the Gibson County Jail Ms. O’Brien was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated and Criminal Recklessness with a Motor Vehicle. Ms. O’Brien remains in custody on a $650 bond.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
