1 injured in single vehicle crash.





Sheriff Richard Behnke reports that on 12/8/17 at approx. 1946 hours his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash, on Dailey rd, North of Jefferson Center st in Jefferson Township, Cass County Michigan. 44 yr old South Lyon resident, Joseph Steven Limmer, was North bound on Dailey road when he ran off the roadway striking a tree. Mr. Limmer stated that he was reaching for his phone and that caused him to run off the roadway. He was transported by ambulance to Borgess Lee Hospital in Dowagiac for treatment. Seat belts were not used at the time of the crash and alcohol may have been a factor. This case remains under investigation.
