One Injured in Mason Township Crash

Cass County Sheriff Richard Behnke reports that on 12/9/2017 at 5:52 a.m. his Office responded to a two vehicle accident on US 12 near Trout Road.
24-year-old Kelsey Larsh of Three Rivers was westbound on U.S. 12 when an eastbound vehicle driven by 45-year-old Drew Baker of South Bend crossed the centerline of the road and struck her head-on.
Medics from the Southeast Public Safety Authority transported Baker to Elkhart General Hospital for non life threatening injuries. Larsh was released at the scene.
Both drivers are believed to have been wearing their seat belts. Deputies do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
