Winter Weather Advisory for Saturday, December 9 – please exercise caution on area roadways
The first snowfall of the season is expected on Saturday. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect with possible accumulations of 2 to 5 inches.
Snow should begin early tomorrow morning and become moderate at times during the day with .25 - .5/hour rates. Snow will become lighter during the evening, however, there could be scattered snow showers Sunday morning.
The Township of North Brunswick advises residents to remove their vehicles off the street for snowfall over 3 inches in order for DPW crews to clean the roadways and make it safe for the public.
Residents who live on a designated Snow Emergency street must remove their vehicle from the street. A complete list of Snow Emergency and partial Snow Emergency streets may be found at www.northbrunswicknj.gov/snow/snow-emergency-streets.
Thank you and please use caution while traveling on Saturday.
