Jackson Police Charge Man in Two Sex Crimes

Jackson Police Charge Man in Two Sex Crimes

Jackson police have charged Christeris Allen, 18, of Jackson, in connection with two attacks on women inside their homes in the Old Hickory Boulevard area. Allen was a stranger to both women.

Allen faces charges of Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Sexual Battery for a November 10th incident at an apartment at 809 Old Hickory Blvd. He is also charged with Aggravated Robbery, Especially Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Rape for a November 27th incident at a house on Woodmoss Cove.

During the course of the investigation, police noticed a pattern in both attacks. A TBI sketch artist produced a composite of the suspect. Jackson police released the sketch to alert the public and to identify the suspect.

With the assistance of the Murfreesboro Police Department, Jackson police were able to develop Allen as the suspect. Further investigation revealed that he was responsible for both attacks.

Jackson police were able to pinpoint a location where Allen could be hiding. On the night of December 6th, the JPD Major Crimes Unit, Gang Unit, Street Crimes Unit and U.S. Marshals Task Force took Allen into custody inside an apartment at 800 Old Hickory Blvd. He was arrested without incident.

Allen was arraigned December 7 in Jackson City Court. He is being held at the Madison County Jail on $500,000 bond. A hold was placed on him by Murfreesboro police.
