Community Forum - ID Theft & Fraud

Please join the Crime Prevention and Emergency Preparedness Commissions for an evening of crime-fighting and preparedness in Lafayette. We'll have experts who will cover topics such as the latest trends in identity theft, how to better protect your mail during the holidays, and what each of us can do to reduce the likelihood that our personal information will be compromised. We'll also discuss the most common "cons" and "scams" that are occurring in our community - making you immune to their allure. Finally, we'll have experts in disaster preparedness - to make sure that we are all ready for the "Big One". The forum will be held on Wednesday, December 6, from 7p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Lafayette Veterans Memorial Building (3780 Mount Diablo Boulevard).
