Synopsis:
Update:
All subjects related to the shooting incident in the Target parking lot have been accounted for. Two subjects remain in critical condition at a local hospital and one subject is in custody. The Police Department is not releasing any names of involved subjects at this time, pending notification of family members.

The Police Department would like the public to know that this incident was not related to operations at the Target store, the incident occurred in the parking lot. The Emeryville Police Department would like to thank the members of the Oakland Police Department who responded and provided assistance throughout this incident.

Previous release:
Today at 6:01pm officers from the Emeryville and Oakland Police Departments responded to Target for reports of gunshots in the parking lot. Officers arrived and detained one subject. Two subjects are being treated for gunshot wounds at local hospitals. Three firearms have been recovered. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Emeryville Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Section at (510) 596-3700.
