Road Closure - Golden Gate and Plaza Way 4pm-6:30pm. "It's a Wonderful Life in Lafayette" Holiday Celebration.
Road Closure - Golden Gate and Plaza Way
Just a reminder that tonight we will be doing some road closures for the Chamber's "It's a Wonderful Life in Lafayette" Holiday Celebration. The event runs from 4:00 pm to 6:30 p.m. this evening. The following road closures will occur to support the event:
Mt. Diablo at Golden Gate (next to the plaza) - Both directions will be closed, so you will not be able to turn onto Golden Gate from Mt. Diablo - The best detour is to use First Street.
Plaza Way at Moraga Road - Both directions will be closed, so you will not be able to turn right from Moraga Road onto Plaza Way. Instead, go to first street and come up Golden Gate from the Lirbary side.
Golden Gate at the Park Theater - Traffic will be blocked in both directions, so you will not be able to access Mt. Diablo from the theater.
ALL of the businesses in the plaza that are normally open will be open tonight.
Santa has asked that we not do meter enforcement along Golden Gate Way and the Oak Bridge Parking Lot after 2pm. FREE parking at the meters in those two areas. Please respect the private parking lot behind the theater.
If you have never been to this event, it is a great time for the entire family - great way to start the holiday season. If you have a new unwrapped toy, we will be accepting toys for our toy donation program as well.
