Milpitas Police Department Citizen Volunteers

Today we honored the Milpitas Police Department Citizen Volunteers at the 2017 Recognition Luncheon.

During the luncheon, Citizen Volunteer Betty Won (pictured with Chief Pangelinan) was presented with the Volunteer of the Year award.

Additionally, several Citizen Volunteers were recognized with Service Hour Awards:

1000 hours-Judy Garcia
3000 hours-Syed Moshin
4000 hours-Betty Won
7000 hours-Allen Thomas
12000 hours-Bob Roberts

The Citizen Volunteers are utilized to enhance vital police programs and increase community awareness. You can frequently find them at community events and patrolling the city acting as the "eyes and ears" for us. They perform an great service for our department and the community and we truly appreciate their commitment and dedication. THANK YOU!
