The following crime was reported during the week of November 20-26, 2017:

11-22-17
Theft- 31000 block of Ridge Route Road
The store clerk reported a male suspect stole batteries and a pack of cigarettes from the location. The crime occurred in the early morning hours. 
      
Remember, in any community, the citizens are the first set of eyes and ears for 1^st responders.  It is the community who knows what “does” and “doesn’t” look right.  It is you, the local citizens, who can tell who “does” and “doesn’t” belong in the area.  If you see any suspicious activity, something that doesn’t look “right”, please call the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at (661) 255-1121 or 9-1-1 in an emergency.

Please be aware that many of the thefts we have seen in the past have been “Crimes of Opportunity”.  Never leave valuables in plain view in your vehicle, close and lock your doors.  Minimize your risk of becoming a victim.
