Scott Chandler, City Engineer for the City of Jackson, and the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) has authorized the temporary road closures of All-lanes downtown Jackson starting at the Civic Center parking lot north on Monday, December 4, 2017, from 5:45 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. (weather permitting) for the City of Jackson's Annual "Christmas Parade" event. The parade starts approximately at 6:30 p.m. Parade Rain date is Tuesday, 12/5/17. The parade route is as follows: Starts at the Civic Center, north lot, onto Church Street, to Chester Street, to Shannon Street, east on Main Street, East Main to Royal Street and back to the Civic Center. Please heed all patrol units for traffic control during this event. For registration of a float for the "Christmas Parade" event, please call Melissa Cockrell at 731-425-8386.
