Fatal Traffic Collision
On 11/28/17 at about 2:36 a.m., the Culver City Police Department received notification of a single vehicle traffic collision that occurred on Slauson Avenue at Buckingham Parkway. The collision resulted in one fatality. The cause of the collision is under investigation but it is believed speed was a factor. It is uncertain if alcohol and/or drugs also played a role.
Slauson Avenue between Shenandoah Avenue and Buckingham Parkway is currently closed and will remain so until approximately 8:00 a.m. In the meantime, commuters are strongly encouraged to take alternate routes to avoid the area.
The name of the decedent is being withheld pending notification to the next of kin.
