November 10th

Grand Theft - 10690 San Pablo Ave:
An officer reports that an unknown suspect stole a new furnace in the box that was set to be installed at the business. The theft occurred in between 11/9/17 1500 to 11/10/17 0700 hours.

Auto Burglary - 11760 San Pablo Ave:
A Community Service Officer reports that an unknown suspect shattered the victim’s vehicle window and stole property. The incident occurred in between 11/8/17 0930 to 11/10/17 0920 hours.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle - 11565 San Pablo Ave:
An officer located the victim’s 2013 Honda Insight that had been reported stolen to Richmond PD on the 7th.

Vehicle Theft - Central Ave / Everett Street:
At 2116 hours the victim reported the theft of a 1997 green Jaguar XK8 2 door which he had parked in the area.

Warrant Arrest - San Pablo Ave / Portola Dr:
At 0016 hours an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and contacted a 33-year-old Richmond man and determined he had a Felony warrant. The man was arrested and transported to ECPD for processing and then booked into County Jail.

Warrant Arrest - S. 56th St / Madison Ave:
At 0017 hours an officer conducted a traffic stop and contacted the driver, a 30-year-old Oakland man, and determined he had a misdemeanor warrant. The man was transported to ECPD for processing and cite released.

November 11th

Trespassing, Disobeying an Officer - 225 El Cerrito Plaza:
Officers were dispatched to an unwanted subject in front of the store, panhandling, and refusing to leave. Officers arrived and contacted the 51-year-old male from Oakland who refused to identify himself or leave the premises. After several opportunities/refusals to leave or identify himself, he was arrested. The male was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility after booking.

Auto Burglary - (Shields Nursing Home) 3230 Carlson Blvd:
At 2305 hours an officer took a report of an auto burglary that occurred in the rear parking lot of the business. The driver side rear window of the victim vehicle was broken to gain entry. Occurred 2000-2230 hours.

DUI - San Pablo Ave / Moeser Lane:
At 2242 hours an officer conducted a traffic stop and contacted the driver, a 56-year-old Richmond man and determined he was DUI. The man was transported to ECPD for processing and cite released.

November 12th

Robbery -11299 San Pablo Ave:
At 1435 hours, an officer reported the suspect entered the business and attempted to purchase merchandise with his debit card. The suspect left the store with the merchandise prior to the transaction being completed. The clerk discovered the transaction was declined and contacted the suspect and attempted to retrieve the merchandise. The suspect bit and punched the clerk and fled the area of the unpaid merchandise.

Warrant Arrest - San Pablo Ave / Knott Ave:
At 1519 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop and arrested the 23-year-old female driver of Castro Valley for an outstanding warrant. After booking she was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Residential Burglary - 800 Block of S. 53rd Street:
At 0922 hours, an officer reported the suspect attempted to gain entry into the victim’s house by prying a bedroom window. The suspect was scared off when the victim woke up and confronted him. The suspect was last seen riding the victim’s green Trek mountain bicycle that was taken from a previous theft.

Auto Burglary - (CVS) 10650 San Pablo Ave:
At 1857 hours an officer took a report of an auto burglary that occurred in the parking lot of the business. The right front passenger window of the victim vehicle was broken to gain entry and property in plain view was stolen. Occurred 1850-1856 hours. The suspect vehicle was a white or silver SUV with large chrome rims and tinted windows.

Auto Burglary - (CVS)10650 San Pablo Ave:
While investigating the above burglary, another auto burglary was located. The driver window of the victim vehicle was broken to gain entry and property in plain view was taken. Occurred 1851-1854 hours.

Warrant Arrest - State Avenue / S. 49th Street:
At 2126 hours an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and contacted a 45-year-old transient man and determined he had a warrant. The man was transported to ECPD for processing and then booked into County Jail.

November 13th

Auto Burglary - Schmidt Lane / Kearney Street:
At 0731 hours, an officer responded to the report of an auto burglary. In between 11/12/17 at 1800 hours and 11/13/17 at 0730 hours, an unknown suspect broke the wing window of a Toyota Corolla and entered the vehicle. There was no loss.

Burglary - 8500 block of Madera Drive:
At 1048 hours, an officer responded to the report of a burglary. Sometime over the weekend, an unidentified suspect broke into the cabinets in the nurse’s office and stole $160.00. It is unknown at this point how entry was made into the nurse’s office.

Shoplifting - (CVS) 10650 San Pablo Ave:
At 1455 hours, an officer responded to the report of a shoplifting that just occurred. An officer intercepted a 32-year-old San Pablo woman as she rode way on the BART path with the stolen liquor. She was identified, the stolen merchandise recovered and she placed under citizen’s arrest. She was booked and cited.

Shoplifting - 1000 EC Plaza:
At 1601 hours, an officer responded to the report of a shoplifter. The suspect was described as a black female, 20’s, heavyset, red beanie, and camouflage pants with a black backpack. She loaded up on cosmetic items and fled towards Liberty Street.

November 14th

Publix Intoxication - 1000 EC Plaza:
At 1430 hours, an officer noticed a 55-year-old Richmond man passed out on the sidewalk in front of Lucky’s. He was heavily intoxicated. He was arrested and direct transported to the MDF.

Residential Burglary – 7100 block of B Street:
At 1435 hours, Officers responded to the report of a bathroom window alarm. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the window screens had been pried off, although the windows were all secured. The rear slider was found unlocked. The homeowner reported two tablets were missing.

November 15th

Robbery - (Safeway) 11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 1040 hours, Officers responded to the report of a theft at Safeway. The suspect had concealed items and attempted to leave the store when stopped by an employee. The suspect shoved the employee several times and fled the store. The suspect, a 21-year-old male from Richmond was located by an officer at Potrero Ave. / I-80. The suspect was positively identified and placed under arrest during an infield show-up. The suspect was booked and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Shoplift - (Lucky) 1000 EC Plaza:
At 1056 hours, an officer responded to the report of a theft at the business. The officer reported a male stole a 12 pack of Red Bull and fled the area.

Shoplift - 10650 San Pablo Ave:
At 1129 hours, an officer responded to the report of a theft at CVS. Officer located the suspect several blocks from the business and detained him. The suspect was found to be in possession of the unpaid merchandise and identified during an infield show-up. The 33-year-old male was placed under Citizen’s Arrest and transported to the El Cerrito PD for booking. After booking the male was released on a citation.

November 16th

Warrant Arrest - Cutting Blvd / Kearney St:
At 0028 hours an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and contacted a 40-year-old transient man and determined he had a misdemeanor warrant. The man was arrested and transported to County Jail.

November 17th

November 18th

Warrant arrest - S. 52nd Street / Fray Ave:
At 2310 hours an officer conducted a bicycle stop and contacted a 45-year-old Richmond man and determined he had two misdemeanor warrants. The man was transported to ECPD for processing and then booked into County Jail.

November 19th

Shoplift Robbery - (Safeway) 11450 San Pablo Ave:
At 1744 hours Officers were sent to Safeway in regard to a theft that had occurred. Security advised a theft had occurred and the suspect sprayed the security guard with mace. Upon arrival it was determined that a 39-year-old San Pablo woman had stolen food items and walked out of the store. When confronted in the parking lot by security the removed pepper spray from her key chain and apparently attempted to spray security. The woman was transported to ECPD for processing and then booked into County Jail.

Grand Theft - (Walgreens) 11565 San Pablo Ave:
At 2353 hours Officers were sent to Walgreens in regard to a theft that had just occurred. Upon arrival a 37-year-old transient woman was contacted in the parking lot. It was determined the woman was in possession of over a $1000 in stolen merchandise. The woman was transported to ECPD for processing and subsequently released due to a medical issue.

November 20th

Warrant Arrest - San Pablo Ave / Cutting Blvd:
At 2121 hours, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop and found the driver, a 23-year-old San Jose male, had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of Madera County. He was cited and released.

Warrant Arrest - Cutting Blvd / BART Path:
At 2205 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 29-year-old Roseville male for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of San Francisco PD. He was transported to county jail.
