Holiday Safety/Crime Advisory. Miami Shores Police investigating two break-in's/attempt&actual. NE area and Central West Area.

The Miami Shores Police Department is releasing information about recent crime/crime activity.

We are currently investigating two break in's that occurred during the morning hours. One case occurred in the area of 107th Street & NE 10th Avenue. Subjects attempted to enter the residence through a widow but an alert citizen scared them off. Police are currently working to identify the vehicle the subjects fled in.

The second case in the area of 100th Street & NW 2nd Avenue, the subjects enter through a potentially unlocked windows. After encountering the occupants, the subjects fled on foot toward the unincorporated area near I-95. Police are currently processing evidence recovered from the scene to identify the subjects.
