Advisory to residents regarding telephone scams. Police agencies will never contact you asking for money. DO NOT give your financial information to anyone who contacts you via telephone, text or email. If someone ask you for Bond or Warrant money HANG UP the phone and call the Huntington Woods Police 248-541-1180. If you are asked to purchase gift cards for a caller IT'S A SCAM. If a relative calls and request money to get out of jail, call our department before you send anything. If you have any doubts about the person contacting you it just may be a SCAM.
