Subject: Water Main Flushing – Overlook Drive
Dear Resident,
The City of Oneonta Department of Public Service, in response to recent complaints of dirty water in this area of the distribution system, will be flushing the water mains on Overlook Dr. Work to begin at 9:00 a.m. and should be completed before Noon on Tuesday, November 21st. During and immediately following flushing, nearby residents may experience low or no pressure, and red or cloudy water, which can be cleared by running a faucet.

If you continue to experience dirty water in the days/weeks/months after flushing, please inform the DPS of the date/time and duration of the occurrence, along with any other factors that you believe may be related. Your assistance in this matter is appreciated.
