Assault Arrest 
(Etowah County, Alabama) A Walnut Grove man has been arrested in connection to assault, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Michael Douglas Leonard Woods, 27, of Walnut Grove, is charged with one count of second degree assault, a felony,” investigator Adam Chapman said.
Woods allegedly hit a male victim, two times, causing a broken jaw. The victim was treated for his injury at a Birmingham hospital.
Woods is being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.
