UNLOCKED Car Burglaries 
Early this morning police officers and detectives responded to numerous UNLOCKED car burglaries. The targeted area by the unknown suspect(s) appears to be the neighborhoods south of Sunset Ave off of Wickapecko Drive.
Since implementing social media a few years ago we have stressed many times that if a crime is predictable, it's preventable! As we close out 2017 and move into the new year let's try and LOCK our car doors so that you don't become a victim. Please remove your valuables and or keep them out of plain sight in case a would be thief is peering into vehicles.
The time frame on these burglaries is from 9pm Sunday night into Monday morning at 6am. If you live in the area, have exterior surveillance cameras please check your footage during this time frame. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
