Sheriff Richard Behnke is reporting that his Deputies responded to a traffic crash on M-51 south and Indian lake Rd in Pokagon Twp on 11/15/2017 at 1021 Hrs. Deputies are advising that Donald Fazi , 55 yrs old from Dowagiac, was North bound on M-51. A vehicle driven by Elizabeth Ecker 28 Yrs old from Niles, was stoped on M-51 to turn West bound on Indian Lake Rd. Mr. Fazi was unable to stop colliding with ms, Ecker. Ms, Ecker was transported to Borgess Lee Hospital by Pride Care Ambulance for minor injuries. Mr, Fazi was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital by SMCAS Ambulance for his minor injuries.

Safety Belts and alcohol was not a factor in the traffic crash. The traffic crash remains under investigation at this time.
