We understand and see the value of wearing a seat belt when operating a vehicle. Not only it is the law, but it prevents unnecessary injuries caused during crashes. SPD will have extra patrols today, thanks to a traffic enforcement grant. We will be deploying resources to focus on seat belt enforcement, along with other traffic violations.
