Incidents 298 Reports 51
#009 Suspicious Circumstances
At 8:22 a.m., officers responded to the Fremont Hub near the Elephant Bar after security called reporting that they had second hand information that two men had been in a fight in front of the vacant restaurant and one of the males had a handgun. Security checked the area and located what appeared to be a bullet hole in a broken piece of glass at the restaurant. No suspects were located in the area and CSI Richards tech’d the scene. There was no evidence located consistent with the window being shattered by a bullet. There were also no calls that came in during this time, reporting gunfire. After examining the scene, evidence suggests a larger item, such as a river rock, which was present at the scene, impacted the window and caused the damage. Case investigated by Officer Haugh and supervised by Sgt. Sanchez.
