Deputies are asking for the public's help in IDing a man who stole a credit card machine from a local dry cleaner

On Thursday October 22, 2017 at approximately 2:24 p.m., a Hispanic male entered the McCleaners on Baseline and Boulder Avenue in the city of Highland and asked to pick up his dry cleaning. As the clerk was attempting to locate his name, he started to un-plug the credit card machine. The clerk attempted to pull it back but the suspect yanked the cord out of her hand and ran out with it.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, thin build with a blue and gray New York Yankee’s baseball cap. The clerk could not describe his tattoos, only the letter “D” on his left hand as pictured above.

Anyone with information regarding this crime or has had similar crimes of this nature occurring in their city, please contact the Highland Police Station.
