Search for Missing Person in Burton Valley 
This evening LPD Officers were dispatched to a missing person in the 3000 Block of North Lucille in Burton Valley. Officers found that Kristine Kent (64 years old) left her home this morning before 7:30 a.m., leaving her purse and phone behind. She is at risk because of a mental health issue. She did something similar to this last year and was found in the neighborhood hiding by a neighbor. She is believed to be in the neighborhood of her home. LPD and Sheriff's Search and Rescue are currently searching for her and we are asking for the assistance of the community. If you live in the Burton valley neighborhood, you are asked to search your home and surrounding structures for her. If you have seen her today, you are asked to contact LPD Dispatch at (925) 284-5010 or 911. Kristine is 64 years old, she is 5 foot 7 and heavy set. It is unknown what clothing she was wearing when she left the family home.
