MPD Traffic Safety Unit is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred this morning on New Albany Rd. 
On 11/2/2017 at 7:13 am Moorestown Police were dispatched to the area of 336 New Albany Road in Moorestown Township for the report of a serious motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle.
The motorcycle driver was a 35 year old male resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who was operating a 2008 Suzuki eastbound on New Albany Road.
A 2016 Subaru Outback operated by a 45 year old female resident of Moorestown, New Jersey accompanied by her 17 year old son , was making a left turn out of the driveway of 336 New Albany Road onto New Albany Road.
The motorcycle driver struck the driver’s side of the Subaru and sustained serious injury. He was transported to Cooper Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. At 8:25 am the motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at Cooper Hospital. There were no other injuries reported in this crash.
