Hockley County Sheriff's Office calls for service and activities for Wednesday, 11/1/17. 
Good Thursday morning! The following are calls for service and activities for the Sheriff’s Office for Wednesday, 11/1/17.
-100 blk Ellwood, Anton: Juvenile Issue. A deputy was notified of a juvenile issue at an area location. The juvenile was taken into custody and released to Juvenile Probation. A report is pending on the matter.
-6800 blk Hwy 114, Smyer: Warrant Service. A deputy checked a residence related to a child custody issue and one of the subjects had a felony warrant. One individual was taken into custody and transported to the jail without incident.
-200 blk 4th St, Sundown: Assist Sundown PD. A deputy responded to assist with a disturbance at a residence in the area. Parties were separated and deputies assisted on scene as needed. Sundown PD is handling any investigation and reports.
Deputies also conducted close patrols/vacation watches, patrols throughout the county, investigative follow-up activities, and civil process service.
