Hello,

This is the City of Haverhill calling on Thursday, November 2^nd with an important message.

The purpose of this telephone call is to advise and update you that the City has been notified by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (or MBTA) that due to their roadway milling and paving activities on Washington Street in downtown Haverhill there will be impacts to traffic in this vicinity for a one day period; on Friday, November 3^rd. This work is subject to change based upon weather and contractor availability.

Work on Washington St will require closure of Washington Street at the bridge and will thus require a detour of traffic.
Signage will be installed along the detour route alerting motorists to this project, and MBTA detail officers will be on site to assist motorists in navigating the detours.
