Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for the entire local area from Noon today until 6 am Monday. Rainfall forecast range 2" to 4"

A rapidly deepening low off the Mid Atlantic coast this afternoon will track north-northwest and into the Lower Hudson Valley

tonight, bringing heavy rains and damaging southeast winds to the region. As the low passes north of the area Monday, strong west winds will redevelop across the region just after sunrise.

A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for the entire local area from Noon today until 6 am Monday. The heaviest rain is
forecast from this afternoon to just after midnight. Rainfall is forecast to range from 2 to 4 inches with isolated higher
amounts. Maximum hourly rates of 1+ inch are possible during this time.

A High Wind Warning in in effect for all of Connecticut and Long Island from 6 pm today to 6 am Monday. Damaging southeast winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 65 mph are forecast.

A High Wind Watch is in effect for the NYC/NJ Metro area and portions of the Lower Hudson Valley from 6 pm today to 6 am Monday
for potentially damaging southeast wind gusts near 60 mph.

Storm Warnings are in effect for all of our Coastal Waters from 6 pm Sunday through 6 am Monday for gusts up to 60 kt.

Once a cold front moves east of the area late tonight, winds are forecast to shift to the West at speeds of 20-30 mph with gusts around 45 mph.
