2 Drug Arrests - Vermillion Co Sheriff

Date: October 25, 2017

Case: Warrant Service - Rural Clinton Indiana.

Investigating Officer: Vermillion County Deputy Chad Hennis

Assisting Officers: Sheriff Mike Phelps, Deputies Chad Akers, Mike Strader, Nick Hall, Reserve Deputies Caleb Woodard and Brian Fagg and Indiana State Trooper Chuck Murphy.

On October 25, 2017 at approximately 5:20 P.M. deputies received a tip that Drew Lubovich (26)(wanted on a Vermillion Co Warrant) had just pulled into his garage and went into the house.  When deputies pulled into the driveway Lubovich was observed running out the back of the residence toward the woods.  Lubovich was quickly taken into custody and deputies located approximately 3 grams of suspected heroin that he had thrown while fleeing.  
 
At approximately 7:30 P.M. deputies executed a search warrant issued out of Vermillion County Circuit Court for this residence.  Deputies located Sabrina M. Dailey (age 22) inside the residence.  Dailey had a valid protective order against Lubovich.  

During a search of the residence deputies located approximately 20 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 100 grams of marijuana, a loaded 9 MM handgun and drug paraphernalia.

Drew Lubovich was arrested for possession of a narcotic drug (L6 Felony), possession of methamphetamine (L5), maintaining a common nuisance-Drug Related (L6), invasion of privacy (A-Misd), possession of paraphernalia (C-Misd) and Failure to appear for Domestic Battery (warrant L6).  He is being held in the Vermillion County Jail on $25k bond.

Sabrina M. Dailey (22) was arrested for possession of methamphetamine (L4), possession of marijuana (B-Misd), maintaining a common nuisance (L6) and possession of paraphernalia (C-Misd).  She is being held in the Vermillion County Jail on $25k bond.
