#012 Outside Assist SJPD/Stolen vehicle
A male in the 41000 block of Blacow was observed walking around a parking lot while ranting and screaming.  Officers arrived but the male had fled the area prior on foot.  While at the scene, officers located an unreported stolen vehicle out of San Jose in the parking lot.  Approximately two hours later, a resident in the 5100 block of Selma Ave reported there was male in the backyard of their house hiding.  Officers responded and located the 37 year old adult male, Fremont resident.  The male was identified as the person who abandoned the stolen vehicle on Blacow Rd.  The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Rita Jail on charges of vehicle theft and driving a vehicle with a suspended license.

#036 Possession of Meth and an Illegal Switchblade
At 7:29 p.m. Officer Cordero observed a male who was on active probation walking in front of a business in the 2600 block of Mowry Ave. During a search, per his probation terms, officers located two plastic baggies which contained a white crustal like substance, believed to be methamphetamine and a spring loaded knife.  Officers arrested the arrested the 41 year old adult male, Oakland resident for possession of a controlled substance and carrying an illegal switchblade knife.   
 
#024 Petty Theft Arrest
At 3:08 p.m. Officer Roberts responded to a report of a theft in the 39200 block of Fremont Blvd.  The caller advised that a female had been detained by asset protection after taking cosmetic items, totaling more than $50 without paying at the register.  Arrested was a 22 year old female from Concord.  She was given a ride to the jail and booked for petty theft.
 
#023 Grand Theft
At 2:45 p.m., Officer Liu took a theft report in the 43900 block of Hugo Terrace.  The victim was with her friend enjoying a cup of coffee when two unknown suspects ran into the store and stole her laptop, valued at $1000.   She had been seated by the table closest to the door.  The suspects were described as follows:
 
Suspect vehicle:  A gold or champagne Cadillac Deville 4-door sedan
Suspect # 1: Black male adult, 15-25 years, 6'00", stocky or heavy build, with long hair, 3-4" in length, wearing a loose fitting black zip up hooded sweatshirt with the interior of the hood red in color and loose baggy dark color jeans.
Suspect # 2 (Driver of Suspect Vehicle): Black male adult, 15-25 years, skinny build and wearing a light gray t-shirt.
 
#043/006 Misc. Public Service
AT 11:36 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 42200 block of Boscell Rd on the report of a verified alarm. The alarm company had video surveillance and the responsible party reported he was remotely watching a person on the property entering vehicles.  At 4:40 a.m., an identical call was received.  It was determined the camera was capturing people in the property just to the south, and no crime had occurred.
