TIME PERIOD: Tuesday October 24, 2017 7AM – 7PM (Main Threat 8AM – 3PM)
A slow moving frontal boundary will approach late tonight and more / less stall in the area into Tuesday. This will result in an extended period for heavy downpours and a few storms. Because of this and from fallen leaves, there is an enhanced poor drainage / roadway
flooding threat. Overall, through tomorrow 1.50 - 2.50" rainfall is expected. There is still uncertainty where the 2 - 3" amounts will fall, but in those locations flooding will be the worst and may also cause smaller streams / creeks to flood. Additionally, any storm may contain
strong winds and even a brief tornado. Overall, this activity will be most widespread midmorning to early afternoon, with gradual improvement late (from W to E).
