Weekend Events in the City of Manchester that could cause traffic delays and increase traffic congestion.

The Manchester Police Department would like to advise you of two events this weekend, on Saturday, October 28, 2017 and Sunday October 29, 2017, that may cause traffic delays and increase traffic congestion.

The first event is the annual Trick or Trot that will begin at Arms Park on Saturday at 2:00 PM.

START: Arms Park adjacent to Merrimack River
Counter-Clockwise around lot
SB on Commercial Street to Spring Street
EB on Spring Street to Plaza Drive
NB on Ramp to EB span of Bridge Street Bridge
WB across bridge to McGregor Square
Turn Around to WB Span of Bridge Street Bridge
EB across Bridge to On Ramp from Kidder Street
NB on Ramp to Kidder Street
WB on Kidder Street to SB lanes of Canal Street
SB on Canal Street (in SB Lane) to Spring Street
WB on Spring Street to Commercial Street
NB on Commercial Street to Main Entrance to Arms Park
Enter Park and go Clockwise around lot to the Finish
FINISH: Arms Park adjacent to Merrimack River

The second event is annual Hallo-Wiener Hustle that will begin at McGarvey's Pub on Sunday at 1000 AM the Crusader Classic 5K, which will start at Sweeney Park on Saturday at 1000hrs.

This is a 4-person Team Relay Race: Runners will depart McGarvey's head N on Elm St. E on Blodgett St S on Chestnut St. W in the alley north of Lowell St. Runners will enter secondary front entrance of McGarveys and the next runner from the team will depart from the main entrance in the front of the tavern and head north on Elm St and complete course.

Motorists are urged to use caution around both events as there will be several road closures and runners in the roadway
