Press Release: Subject arrested for Manufacturing a Controlled Dangerous Substance

ACCUSED: Peter Mantas, Age 55, Interlaken, NJ
NARRATIVE:
On October 20, 2017 at approximately 3:15pm Deal Officers and the Allenhurst Fire Department were dispatched to a residence on Bridlemere Ave for a fire alarm activation. Upon arrival Deal officers along with members of the Allenhurst Fire Department conducted an interior check of the residence. While conducting the check of the residence a quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia was located inside the home.
Following a subsequent investigation, the accused was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia. In accordance with bail reform guidelines the accused was released on a criminal summons pending a court date.
