10/14 - 6:02 a.m. - Police, along with Millstadt Fire Department and Millstadt EMS, responded for a traffic crash in the 500 block of West Madison Street. The crash involved a vehicle, which appeared to have been travelling at a high rate of speed, striking a house. The resident of the house was at home, but was uninjured. The driver of the vehicle was the lone occupant. He was injured and transported to a St. Louis area hospital, with non-life threatening injuries. Charges in the case are pending, until toxicology results are obtained.
