Mark your calendar! The Costa Mesa Police Department (CMPD) is participating in the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Initiative.
On Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. CMPD and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public the opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your pills for disposal to our Department at 99 Fair Drive, the disposal box will be in the front lobby. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. Please note that the DEA cannot accept liquids or needles or sharps, only pills or patches.
