Wind Advisory until 11:00PM Wednesday

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 11 PM PDT WEDNESDAY... The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 11 AM to 11 PM PDT Wednesday.

* WIND...Southeast 20 to 30 mph with gusts 40 mph.

* SOME AFFECTED LOCATIONS...Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, Bremerton.

* TIMING...Winds will increase early Wednesday afternoon and peak during the evening commute.

* IMPACTS...Winds of this magnitude can cause minor tree damage and local power outages. This will be the first event of this magnitude this season. Such events commonly bring more impacts in terms of tree damage and power outages than the same wind later in the season.

* AFFECTED AREAS: BELLEVUE AND VICINITY ... BREMERTON AND VICINITY ... HOOD CANAL AREA ... SEATTLE AND VICINITY ... TACOMA AREA
