Suspicious vehicle leads to arrest of two on minor consumption charges. 
On October 14, 2017, at 10:30 p.m. Deputy U.B. Smith stopped with a suspicious vehicle in a field on County Road 1800 West North East of Griffin, Indiana. Upon approaching the vehicle he observed that the occupants of the vehicle appeared to under 21 years of age and under the influence of alcohol. At that point he began a roadside investigation that ended in the arrest of 18 year old Garrett Boehm and 20 year old Cayleigh Shrader of Evansville, Indiana on Minor Possession charges. Both individuals were transported to the Gibson County Sheriff’s Office where they had a bond of $450.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
