Surrounding towns have experienced a noticeable increase in motor vehicle thefts and burglaries overnight and in early morning hours. Residents are reminded to secure vehicles when parked overnight. Please also remove all valuables especially keys/key fobs. Please report any suspicous activity to the Watchung Police by calling 908-756-3663
