Evacuation Orders Lifted - Orange and County Unincorporated

Evacuation orders and road closures have been lifted for areas impacted by the Canyon 2 Fire with the exception of roads and homes on Windes Drive, north of Santiago Canyon Rd in the City of Orange and Santa Ana Canyon Rd. between Woodcrest Rd and Gypsum Canyon Rd in Anaheim - these areas will remain closed until further notice.  All other areas have been opened.

The public is reminded to stay vigilant on current fire conditions.  If you see electrical wires on the ground, stay clear and contact Southern California Edison immediately.  If your gas has been turned off please contact The Gas Company to turn your gas on.  Trees and poles with deep charring, particularly if still smoking, should be considered hazardous.  Please drive slowly as emergency personnel are in the area. Do not enter any building that has been deemed unsafe by your local building official.

As you re-enter your property and evaluate damage, be aware that hazardous conditions may exist, particularly if a residence or out-building has burned. Hazards may includes asbestos, heavy metals, by products of plastic combustion and various other chemicals.
