The National Weather Service is predicting a return of strong off-shore winds late Wednesday into Thursday. These are the dry winds, with generally low humidity, that come from the land and blow towards the ocean.

What does this mean? We are under a Red Flag Warning which means high fire danger in our areas. Residents should use caution. Outdoor burning should be curtailed and cigarettes should be disposed of in an appropriate manner. These conditions can result in fires burning faster and makes it more difficult for our firefighters to extinguish fires.

Please do your part by using caution and preventing fires. Call 9-1-1 to report suspicious activities or fires.
