Robbery Suspect - Spring Valley

Investigators with the Rancho San Diego Sheriff's Station want your help in identifying and locating a man who robbed a 7-Eleven store in Spring Valley.

It happened on Saturday, September 30th around 2:15 a.m. at the 7-Eleven in the 2800 block of Bancroft Drive. A man armed with a black handgun walked inside and ordered one of the two clerks to open the cash register. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the register and from the other clerk's wallet. He was last seen running off in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a man (unknown race) standing about 6'2" tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie or windbreaker with reflective material lining the zippers, black pants, black shoes, gray gloves with black material on the palms (see photo) and a black face mask.

The weapon the suspect used is described as a black handgun with a mounted light, possibly being held together with rubber bands.

Anyone with information on the identity or location of the suspect is asked to call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
