Princeton woman arrested for unlawful possession of syringe.
On October 7, 2017, at 4:07 p.m. Deputy U.B. Smith stopped with two individuals walking in the middle of County Road 900 South. Upon speaking to one of the subjects he could smell the odor of burnt Marijuana coming from them and began a roadside investigation. During his investigation he found a syringe and other drug paraphernalia on Princeton resident Adrian Myers (age 22.) At the end of his investigation Ms. Myers was transported to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with:
Possession of Paraphernalia
Unlawful Possession of a Syringe
Possession of Marijuana
and Resisting Law Enforcement.
A male party was released at the scene. Ms. Myers remains in custody on a $750 bond.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
