On October 6, 2017, at 10:04 p.m. Deputy U.B. Smith conducted a traffic stop on Broadway in Princeton after observing a Brown 2006 Chevy Impala speeding on US 41 near the State Road 64 exit. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Smith identified the driver as 35 year old Tina Hutchinson of Princeton, Indiana. While speaking with Ms. Hutchinson Deputy Smith detected the odor of alcohol coming from the driver and began a roadside investigation. At the conclusion of his investigation Ms. Hutchinson was transported to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated (DUI.) Ms. Hutchinson has since posted a $650 bond.
