The public is welcomed to come to a come and go open house on Saturday, October 7, 10 to 11:30 a.m., where residents can tour the current fire and public works facilities located at 500 State Highway 5. Town staff will be available at the Open House to answer questions.

The Town Council has called a bond election to be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. The purpose of the election is for the construction of a municipal complex in the general location of the existing Fire Station 1 on State Highway 5. The municipal complex would also include Fire Administration, Public Works as well as a joint Emergency Operations Center (EOC), public meeting and training space. The maximum amount of bonds to be issued is $25.5 million.
