1242 Hours: Officer Fredstrom accepted the citizen’s arrest of a shoplifter at Macy’s NewPark Mall. The 18 year old transient male suspect was booked into the Fremont Jail.

1756 Hours: Officer Allum investigated a non-injury auto accident on Thornton Avenue at 880.

1933 Hours: Officer Wang investigated an auto burglary at Chase Suites, 39150 Cedar Boulevard. The loss is miscellaneous tools.

1950 Hours: Officer Cervantes investigated the theft of a white 2000 GMC Sierra pickup (CA License #6N57284) on the 7400 block of Mowry Avenue.

2119 Hours: Officer Geser investigated an auto-burglary at Chipotle, 34883 Newark Boulevard. The loss is an Apple I-pad mini and Notebook Air.

2110 Hours: Officer Khairy investigated two auto-burglaries in the Safeway parking lot, 5877 Jarvis Avenue. The loss is a Gucci bag containing a GoPro camera and a backpack containing miscellaneous items.

2135 Hours: Officer Wang investigated an auto-burglary that occurred at Newark Café, 35201 Newark Boulevard. The loss was two passports, two laptops and a notebook computer.
