News Release: Commercial Burglary Arrest

DATE/TIME: September 24, 2017 at 12:55am

LOCATION: 1013 Highway 35, The Greek Spot

OFFICERS INVOLVED: Detectives Jesse Orbach, Michael Legg and Christopher Brady

ACCUSED: Kevin Soloman, 29-year-old Male // Toms River, NJ

NARRATIVE:

On September 24, 2017 at approximately 12:55am a commercial burglary occurred at the “The Greek Spot” located on Highway 35. Detective Jesse Orbach processed the crime scene and initiated an investigation. Information was developed that led him to the suspect, later identified as Kevin Soloman.

On September 27, 2017 Soloman was arrested by the Neptune Police Department on an unrelated offense. Ocean Township Detectives subsequently charged him with Burglary, Theft and Possession of Burglary Tools. He was transported to the Monmouth County jail pending his initial court appearance.
