Narrative: On September 26, 2017, a robbery occurred at a 7-Eleven Convenience Store located in the city of Camarillo.
At about 3:15 A.M., an unknown male entered the store, jumped over the counter, assaulted the clerk with a weapon, forced the clerk to open the cash register, and took cash out of the register. The male’s face was covered and his identity is unknown. The male was described as a white male, 20 to 25 years of age, 5’06” to 5’07”, and 155 pounds. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and left in a dark colored sedan.
Investigators with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Bureau and the Camarillo Police Department responded and obtained video surveillance capturing the crime. Investigators are asking for the public assistance with identifying the suspect.
