Theft of Property (Firearm) Arrest 
(Etowah County, Alabama) An Attalla man has been arrested in connection to theft of a firearm, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Jeffrey Waylon Jacobs, 36, of Attalla, is charged with one count of second degree theft of property (firearm) and one count of unlawfully breaking/entering a vehicle, both are felonies,” investigator Adam Chapman said.
Jacobs allegedly stole a hand gun from a vehicle located at a residence on Jacobs Lane. The hand gun was recovered.
Jacobs is being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center and on $5,000 bond.
