9/26/17 Oakland Hills Fire Info 
The Oakland Police Department is assisting the Oakland Fire Department with a large fire in the Oakland Hills. Approximately ten acres have burned at this time, in steep to medium terrain. The area that is currently being evacuated is the top of Edwards Avenue, and north side of freeway 580. Residents have been evacuated.
MEDIA STAGING AREA: MOUNTAIN BLVD AND EDWARDS
Due to emergency vehicles and evacuations we are asking media to stay out of the area. PIO’s are stationed at Mountain Blvd and Edwards Avenue.
The following neighborhoods/ streets have been evacuated:
- All of Campus Drive
- Bayview Drive
- Skyview Drive
- Ridgemont Drive
- Viewcrest
- Stoneridge
